  1. How can I save the contents of the notepad?

  4. What will you do with my e-mail address?

Let us begin by saying what we will not do. We will not use it to send you junk mail and we will to the best of our ability make sure it never falls into the hands of anyone else who might. We hate spam. We really do.

At some point you may wish to configure your Thumbly to do more than just sit on your website and look handsome (or pretty if you selected Lady Thumbly) Your e-mail address serves as your identification giving you access to more features and more control over your Thumbly.

  5. How do I make a border?

For Thumbly a border is an image (jpeg, gif, png, etc) typically 125 pixels wide and 150 pixels high. You can use one of your own images as a background to make your Thumbly unique. You may also select one of ours provided in the Borders section and either use it as is or as a starting point for your own creation. Use your favorite graphic editor and let your imagination run wild. As long as you save your work as one of the standard formats listed above and upload so it is visible on the web it should work.

  6. Why is the right side of this gadget missing?

The minimum recommended screen size for a Thumbly is 1024x768

  7. Who thought of these?

Thumbly began as a program designed to resize images and automatically generate shadows. When he got pretty good at doing that he smiled and starting looking around for something else to do. Thumbly is a Scorpio who likes classic rock and red wine. Turn offs include outsourcing and cloudy days.
